FAQs

“What are your costs?”

— Your wedding photography is a labour of love. A lot of time, care and experience goes into shooting and editing every wedding. You're hiring me to use my unique style to capture beautiful moments and for the experience behind that style. Packages start at £1,030.

“When will we receive our final edited photographs?”

— Me and my camera actually being there on your wedding day is only part of the job. Behind the scenes, I'll be glued to my laptop making sure every detail of your photographs are perfect. I allow 6 weeks from your wedding day to finish the edit, but this can sometimes be sooner, or in peak season this may take a little longer.

“How many photographs will we get?”

— When I get back from your wedding (and take off my dancing shoes), I go through and select the VERY best of the bunch. The Blue Spruce package normally generates between 400-600 photos, and the Rose and Eucalyptus packages normally has between 600-800 photos. Every photo is edited by me individually, no batch edits or outsourcing.

“Is it just you, or do you work with a second photographer?”

— Normarily, it's just me that will be there to capture your wedding day- I come as standard! However, if you have a particularly large wedding, or you would feel more comfortable with a second photographer there to capture every moment, I have a number of photographers that I work regularly with that match my style (and are pretty cool people). Please contact me for more details.

“What if, God forbid, you can’t make it on the day?”

— Hopefully, I won't fall critically ill the day of your wedding, but anything could happen. Don't worry, though, because I double check my dates with a few different photographers who would be more than capable to take my place if the worst should happen. It's like a photographers version of the Bat-Signal.

“How far will you travel?”

— I am based in Milton Keynes, but am MORE than happy to travel anywhere. I love a long drive where I can sing loudly to my music without making those around me feel noxious. Included in the package prices is travel for a venue visit and attendance on the day, of up to an hour and a half drive from where I am based. Anything over this will be charged at .45p per mile. If it is further than 3 hours away from my location (or requires another mode of transport like a plane) then I will require overnight accommodation. Please contact me to discuss this further.

“What happens before the wedding day?”

— Once you are all booked in (yay!), I'll send you a disclaimer form with a few bits of info to read through, which you'll need to send back to me after you've both squiggled on it to say you've read it. You'll also need to pay 10% of the total package upon booking. Then we're all set! Before the big day, we'll discuss things like your group lists and the running order of the day, and I'll also do a venue visit before the day too. I am more than happy to help you with anything you may need, so feel free to email, text or call me any time before the wedding day.

“Can we see the unedited photos, or the ones that didn’t make the final cut?”

I will most likely take 1000’s of photos on the day (thank the Lord for digital photography), but the reason I take so many is so that I don’t miss the best bits, and so I can cherry-pick the very best shots of the bunch to give you. I can promise you that I will have picked the very best of the best to go into the final images, and any that didn’t make it to the final folder had a reason to not be included. I wouldn’t be comfortable showing you unedited images, as they wouldn’t be representative of my work, and delivering further images would be outside what is included in the packages.

“Do you offer engagement or pre-wed shoots?”

Yes! Absolutely. Engagement shoots start at £190, but there are lots of fun details like locations and props that may affect the price. Contact me to talk more!

“Do you do videography?”

I can but I won’t- because there are others out there that can do it SO much better! I like to specialise in one thing, and that is in still pictures, not moving ones. That’s where my heart lies.

I love working with Charli May Video, an incredible videographer who I would recommend to book. I put full faith in her producing you a wonderful, cinematic wedding video!
